D-Day at last!

Today is the day! After what seems like years of planning and preparation the big day is finally here.

If it seems like years its because it IS years. Jenni and I started talking about this trip not long after James was born. I did more or less the same trip as a kid with my brother and parents and it is still amongst my most favourite of childhood memories. I still laugh every time I think about my brother freaking out and legging it when he made the TARDIS dematerialise at the Dr Who exhibition we saw. I think he thought he was on his way somewhere with no way to get back ;-)

By tonight we'll be in Singapore where we will have a day to look at the sights before flying out for London late tomorrow evening. I've got some great advice from people at work (hello Relle and Drew!) about Singapore and what to do and see.

That'll do for now. Our chauffeured ride to the airport gets here soon. Bring on the fun!
